A QAJAR LACQUER MIRROR CASE SIGNED MUHAMMAD BAQIR, DATED AH 1239/ A.D. 1823-4
of rectangular form with lifting cover, decorated in polychrome and gilt with a bird perching amidst a floral spray with butterfly to the cover and the reverse, the cover with signature, bordered by foliate interlace, the interior of the cover with a nobleman being entertained by a maiden and her attendants on a palace terrace.
