This exceptional set, consisting of a decorative porcelain plate and matching vase, is a fine example of Islamic-inspired design by Minton’s, one of London’s most prestigious ceramic manufacturers.
The plate is adorned with a lavish central medallion, surrounded by an elaborate array of floral and geometric patterns in vibrant hues of blue, gold, and green. The intricate designs are meticulously hand-painted. The border of the plate features repeating motifs, each carefully executed to create a harmonious and balanced aesthetic. The back of the plate bears the Minton’s hallmark.
The vase complements the plate perfectly, echoing the same rich color palette and detailed patterns. The tall, slender neck of the vase is beautifully balanced by its rounded base, which is decorated with ornate arabesque motifs. The gold accents throughout the vase enhance its luxurious appearance.
