A faience beads mummy mask from Ancient Egypt, dating back to the Late Period (664–332 BCE). The intricate design features the iconic imagery of the Four Sons of Horus, protectors of the organs of the deceased, and a beautifully crafted winged scarab, symbolizing rebirth and protection in the afterlife.
The mask is meticulously composed of vibrant faience beads. The beads have been expertly arranged to depict a stylized face and body, with rich hues of turquoise, green, and gold predominating.
