These pendants were likely used as temple ornaments or worn as part of a headpiece, reflecting the rich cultural and religious practices of the Byzantine era.
The pendants display a range of shapes and slight variations in size, with some bearing traces of incised designs or symbols, now softened by the passage of time. The glass, though ancient, retains a brilliant translucency, enhanced by the natural patina and earthy deposits that have accumulated over the centuries.
