An illuminated Safavid Qur’an, signed by Mohammed Sadiq, is dated AH 1085 / AD 1674. The manuscript is adorned with richly detailed illuminations, featuring vibrant floral and geometric patterns in gold, blue, and red. The carefully executed calligraphy is framed by intricate borders, with verses highlighted in gold. The Qur’an is enclosed in a later Qajar-era floral lacquered binding.
