This impressive large illuminated Qur’an, originating from the Mughal era in India. The text is framed by intricate gold and blue geometric designs. The richly illuminated opening pages feature floral and geometric motifs, rendered in vibrant colours and accented with gold. The pages are bordered with delicate illuminations that complement the grandeur of the central text. Of particular note is the seal of Mutamad Al-Sultan Muzaffar Al-Din Shah, affixed towards the end of the manuscript.
